Chris Burton

Founder

Chris has held a passion for kitchen & bathroom design and interiors for over ten years and is a self-proclaimed perfectionist. The Brighton Bathroom Company is driven on a philosophy that design should be more than just choosing from a standard set of products. It should be a interior design led experience with consideration towards all aspects of the interior. In his spacetime, along with looking after his children, Oliver & Sophia, Chris loves to spend time riding his motorcycle on trackdays across the UK & Europe.

Helen Head

Showroom Manager

Helen arrived at The Brighton Bathroom company in 2016. She has valuable experience having worked in both a bathroom design showroom in Reigate and as a tiler in Brighton. As a result she has outstanding technical know-how which she uses to great effect when working on clients’ briefs that present practical challenges. She was Highly Commended for the Best Customer Service in the BKU Design Awards, which bears testimony to Helen’s brilliant attention to detail and care she takes with every client that comes through our doors.

Carol Akehurst

Operations Manager

Carol has worked in operations management for the past fifteen years and enjoys the challenge of hectic schedule. Organised and focused, she is an important part of both the kitchen and bathroom business. Carol manages all aspects of administration within the business, with an efficient and methodical approach. She ensures our after sales service, logistics and deliveries run as seamlessly as possible. We consider Carol to be the daredevil of the company! If she isn’t bungee jumping in Australia she is riding her motorbike across country. She is also a big fan of motorsport and a keen car enthusiast.

Dave Button

Warehouse Manager

Dave is the company’s delivery driver and warehouse manager. He takes great care and attention when dealing with our customer’s orders and is a valued member of the team. He has worked for the company for many years, overseeing product quality control and ensuring that items are delivered to site on time. Always with a smile on his face, Dave also helps us with the day-to-day maintenance of the kitchen and bathroom showrooms with his useful handyman skills. Dave enjoys cooking, all sports including cycling, football and tennis, and a good beer.

  Bathroom design, finding and choosing the right products, communicating precisely to contractors- a horrible minefield unless you go with someone as professional, brilliant and effective as Helen and the Brighton Bathroom Team. The end result is spectacular- far exceeding our expectations with flawless service during the build. Our contractor was also hugely impressed, making their life extremely easy.   Complete bathroom refit.

The whole experience from the initial telephone conversation to installation completion, was excellent.

We presented The Brighton Bathroom Company with some ideas of our own, which they retained and evolved into a fabulous design, meeting and sometimes exceeding, all of our requirements. Attention to detail and customer service was excellent throughout, even with the inevitable challenges that arose.   We are so very thankful to Helen and Chelsea at The Brighton Bathroom Company.  They managed to create the most wonderful and stunning en-suite we have ever seen.   From our initial meeting with Helen, her knowledge and experience was clearly evident as where other suppliers had laughed at our idea, her positivity and skills to create our vision were incredible.  The whole process was so exciting , from making our mood board to seeing the final plans presented.   From start to finish, Helen and Chelsea managed the whole project and we didn't have to worry about anything.  The products sourced by the team are of an incredibly high standard and are staggeringly beautiful.  Coupled with this, we must mention the fantastic workman ship of all the team, led by Danny,  who together built and made our dream en-suite a reality.   We cannot recommend TBBC highly enough.  From the immaculate showroom to the warm and friendly manager Helen, the efficient Chelsea, and the excellent fitter Matt, everything is effortless.  Helen asked thoughtful questions about how we use our bathroom (double showers please) and used our pinterest inspiration board to develop a truly creative bathroom design that hit all our asks and exceeded our expectations. Matt fitted the bathroom in exactly the amount of time he said it would take, despite a couple of unexpected issues like extra chunky joists in the floor just where pipes needed to go.  We’ve had a lot of work done on our house over the last 20 years and this was easily the most professional and least stressful experience of them all.

  The Brighton Bathroom Company (TBBC) provided a design and project management service for refurbishment of my bathroom, converting it from bathroom to shower room.
I cannot praise their services too highly. Helen Hunt the designer listened to my objectives and ideas, provided experienced advice and a final design that is both highly functional and visually stunning.
All the products that they recommended are of an exceptionally high quality.
Danny Curd who TBBC recommended to lead the installation was excellent, highly professional and calm throughout the whole process and again I cannot praise him too highly. All the professional tradesmen that Danny engaged also worked a high standard and I was very happy to have them in my home.
As would be expected with such as project there were some minor modifications required once the installation work was completed and both Danny and TBBC  responded promptly and efficiently to carry these out.
I would recommend the services of The Brighton Bathroom Company, Danny Curd and his fellow tradesmen without hesitation.

  We are so delighted with our ensuite and family bathroom designed and supplied by TBBC.  Helen really listened to what we wanted and has made incredibly good use of the space.  The products suggested and supplied are of a really high quality and we were kept informed along the way.  We now we feel like we're going to a high end spa every time we use the bathroom!  Their recommended install company Unique Bathrooms were brilliant, fantastic quality of finish, flexible really helpful and a pleasure to have around.   We had an excellent service throughout the project starting with a very thorough discussion with Helen about our preferences and requirements. We didn’t really know what could be done with our bathroom but Helen suggested some excellent options and advised on appropriate products. Pete’s team did an amazing job fitting out, the finish is impeccable, and were very considerate in clearing up and protecting other rooms from dust during the work.
